Comparison of different voltage applied

AC type (Commercial frequency)

KESD AC type

Working theory: Apply AC high voltage on the static emitter, to get positive and negative ions alternately. Use 50/60Hz frequency to generate ions

Advantage: Good ion balance with positive and negative ions generated at the same time

Disadvantage:

1. Long time gap between positive and negative ions, low ion density and low power

2. Few ions generated and low speed static eliminate

Safety:

6.0KV electric shock, strong keenly feel on the finger

High frequency AC type

KESD High frequency AC type

Working theory: Improved from normal AC type, Use 68/74KHz frequency to generate ions

Advantage:

1.Good ion balance with positive and negative ions generated(Mutual mixing) at the same time

2. Fast in generating the ions, high ion density, fast static eliminating

Disadvantage:

High ion density and powerful high require on the environment

Safety:

2.2KV electric shock, without keenly feel on the finger

DC type

Other brand DC type

Working theory: Apply DC high voltage on the static emitter, to get positive and negative ions constantly

Advantage: Good at long distance eliminating

Disadvantage:

Weak ion balance in short distance

Safety:

5.0KV electric shock, palm and forearm keenly feel
